I called them up in 2008 and asked for assistance in my mortgage! My payments were 5K a month which wasn't a problem until economy crashed! They said to me..."Why would we offer you a loan modification if by foreclosing on you, we can pretty much get all our money back" I felt the representative and with her tone of voice sounded sarcastic! I was then 3 months behind on my mortgage and was desperate for any help! I lost my home in August of 2008, it was very difficult for my family especially my two sons were 2 and a half and 1 year at that time. 12836b6

Laughs on them! I gaurantee they didn't get all their money back. I had Downey Saving foreclose on us in 2007. I found out later they auctioned off the home for way less than we owed, as part of a lot. Incidentally, Downey went under not long afterwards. They wouldn't work with us either.
